  • Memorial Community Hospital & Health System (MCH) is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated Medical/Surgical team. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a community-focused healthcare environment. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing, planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care for a diverse patient population. You’ll collaborate closely with providers and fellow team members during routine care, examinations, and procedures, while promoting patient independence and wellness. Position Details

Schedule: Three 12-hour day shifts (6:00 AM – 6:30 PM), totaling 36 hours per week.

  • Responsibilities: Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients across med/surg and skilled nursing settings. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and education. Perform assessments, develop care plans, and document patient progress. Administer medications and treatments safely via various routes. Respond to both routine and emergency patient needs. Participate in patient admissions, obtain informed consent, and complete timely documentation. Support a culture of teamwork by cross-training and floating to other nursing departments as needed.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Current RN or LPN license in Nebraska or Iowa (required). BLS certification (required). ACLS certification (required within 90 days of hire). BSN preferred. Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (RN or LPN) preferred. Requirements
