About the role

The APC will provide comprehensive, evidence-based care for patients with acute and chronic pain conditions in an outpatient setting. Duties include performing patient evaluations, developing treatment plans, and managing medications in collaboration with a supervising physician.

Opportunity Information Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing Pain Management team in Yuba City, California. Join an established practice dedicated to improving the quality of life for patients suffering from acute and chronic pain conditions. The APC will work collaboratively with a board-certified Pain Management physician to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities

The APC will provide care for patients with a variety of pain-related conditions, including: Chronic neck and back pain Musculoskeletal pain syndromes Neuropathic pain conditions Spine-related disorders Complex chronic pain management Duties include: New and return patient evaluations Ongoing management of chronic pain patients Pre- and post-procedure visits Medication management and monitoring Patient education and care coordination Development of treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician Participation in quality and access improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited NP or PA program with an active California license and board certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA). Experience in GI, internal medicine, or a related specialty is preferred.
