Department: COM | Radiology Diagnostic Mammography
The Physician position provides direct patient care, including routine screenings, diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI. Invasive breast procedures are performed, including needle localizations, MRI biopsies, Stereotactic core biopsies, and Ultrasound-guided core biopsies.
Completion of an M.D. or equivalent degree required. Completed fellowship training. Board Eligible or Board Certified by the ABR and have medical licensure or eligibility in Arkansas.
Provides comprehensive breast imaging services, including routine screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI examinations. Interprets breast imaging studies and communicates findings to referring providers to support accurate diagnosis and patient care. Performs image-guided breast procedures, including needle localizations, stereotactic core biopsies, ultrasound-guided core biopsies, and MRI-guided breast biopsies. Delivers high-quality, patient-centered care while ensuring compliance with established clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, including surgeons, oncologists, pathologists, and primary care providers, to develop and coordinate individualized patient treatment plans.
