About the role

The Activities Aide is responsible for planning, organizing, and leading daily programs to support the physical, emotional, and social well-being of residents. They also provide one-on-one interaction, assist with event logistics, and maintain accurate documentation of resident participation.

Description Join Our Team as an Activities Aide!

We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and creative Activities Aide to join our team full-time! In this role, you will help create meaningful experiences for our residents by planning and leading engaging activities that support their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Activities Aide Schedule Full-Time – 40 hours per week Hours

9:00 AM – 5:30 PM Includes every other weekend Activities Aide Responsibilities Assist with planning, organizing, and leading daily activities and programs for residents Encourage resident participation and engagement Support activities including games, crafts, music, exercise, community outings, and special events Provide one-on-one interaction with residents as needed Transport residents to and from activities when necessary Maintain activity supplies and assist with decorating for holidays and events Work collaboratively with nursing staff and other departments to ensure residents’ needs are met Document participation and attendance as required Activities Aide Qualifications Active CNA certification required Compassionate, patient, and dependable Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience in long-term care, assisted living, recreation, or activities preferred, but not required

Requirements

Candidates must hold an active CNA certification and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in long-term care or recreation is preferred but not required.
