As we like to say, "You're either taking care of our patients or taking care of those caring for our patients." Job Summary As a Medical Assistant, you'll play a vital role in delivering outstanding patient care by supporting providers throughout the patient visit.
You'll ensure a smooth, efficient clinical experience while maintaining professionalism, compassion, and patient confidentiality.

What You'll Do Assist providers with exams, procedures, and patient care.
Room patients, update medical histories, and prepare them for exams.
Maintain efficient patient flow and prepare exam rooms between visits.
Set up instruments, equipment, and procedure trays; assist during procedures.
Prepare and document lab/pathology specimens and communicate results as directed.
Accurately document patient visits in the EMR.
Respond to patient calls, questions, prescription requests, and scheduling needs.
Maintain exam room cleanliness, sterilize instruments, and manage medical supplies.
Follow OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and safety protocols.
Assist with medication prior authorizations, referrals, and other administrative tasks.
Support the practice team with additional responsibilities as needed.

Compensation Range: $19.50 - $25.11 per hour.
Final offer will be based on a combination of skills, experience, location, and internal equity.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and 1-2 years of medical office experience, with dermatology experience preferred. Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred, along with knowledge of medical terminology.
