The Patient Care Assistant works under a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care, including hygiene, transport, and room maintenance. They are also responsible for coordinating unit communications, processing electronic orders, and assembling patient charts.
As a Patient Care Assistant you will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse to assist in delivery of patient care including personal hygiene and daily activities transporting patients and equipment, setting up and maintaining patient rooms, and reordering/stocking of supplies. Responsible for coordination of communications and procedures for the nursing unit, process electronic orders and assembling patient’s charts and other necessities.
32 hrs. weekly/0.8FTE; 3p-1130p with every other weekend

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be in progress with a CNA certification on the Minnesota Registry. A valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross is also required.
