About the role

The Sterilization Technician is responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing dental instruments while maintaining the cleanliness and supply levels of operatories. They also assist with administrative tasks and general facility maintenance to ensure efficient patient flow.

Sterilization Technician – Full Time Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry is seeking a full-time Sterilization Technician to join our team in our Rocky Mount - Sunset, NC office.

We are a patient-centered practice focused on listening to our patients’ needs and delivering high-quality, personalized care.

Our friendly team and welcoming environment help create a positive and comfortable experience for every patient.

Follow proper protocols for cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing dental instruments and equipment Prepare and package instruments for sterilization and operate autoclave equipment Clean, reset, and maintain operatories to support efficient patient flow Ensure operatories are fully stocked with essential supplies (e.g., gloves, masks, floss, toothbrushes, toothpaste) Assist with limited administrative tasks, including reminder calls and scanning patient records Manage laundry for clinical items such as blankets and lab coats Perform light janitorial duties as needed to maintain a clean and organized environment Previous Sterilization Technician or back-office dental experience preferred Demonstrates regular and reliable attendance Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately Flexible and adaptable, with a positive approach to changing responsibilities Maintains strict confidentiality regarding patient information and patient care Schedule Monday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM Tuesday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM Thursday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM Friday: 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM Daily start time: 8:20 AM If you are interested in joining an awesome team that works together to go the extra mile, to provide remarkable service and treatment to our patients, we want to hear from you!
