Perform accurate and efficient mammography exams using appropriate imaging equipment while exercising independent judgment. Maintain high clinical standards to provide the best possible images for interpretation while following patient-centered care philosophies.

PART TIME-DAYS About Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital In response to the health care needs of a growing community, in 1977, Corewell opened a new 189-bed hospital on rural farmland in Troy.

Today, Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital has grown to 530 licensed beds and offers a comprehensive array of health care services, continuing to develop to meet the needs of the growing communities it serves.

Scope of work Under site designate leader, and according to established policies and procedures performs accurate and efficient Mammography exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment, independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.

Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation.

Qualifications

Required associate’s degree Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program. 1 year of relevant experience 1-3 Years’ experience beyond staff radiographer level Preferred CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required CRT-Mammography (M) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist 1 Year required CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required

Requirements

Requires an associate degree and graduation from a JRCERT-accredited radiography program. Candidates must hold ARRT certification in radiography and mammography, along with Basic Life Support certification.
