The Laboratory Aide is responsible for processing specimens, ordering tests, and creating batches for core lab or reference testing. They also assist with clerical quality control, maintenance duties, and relaying patient results.
Seeking Laboratory Aide! PRN (work as needed), every 3rd weekend and maybe occasionally a day during the week. Baptist Health Floyd Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area Performs processing, ordering of testing, accessioning of specimens, and creating batches for core lab/reference testing to be sent out. Assists with assigned clerical quality control and maintenance duties. Answers phones, relays patient results and monitors expected/outstanding logs. Aide may perform some waived or moderately complex testing as required.
