Responsibilities

  • Assist surgeons and the anesthesiology team during operative procedures
  • Coordinate the flow of equipment, supplies, and staff in the operating room
  • Maintain patient safety and monitor perioperative care throughout the procedure
  • Participate in preoperative planning, patient assessment, and nursing treatment
  • Ensure sterile technique, accurate instrument counts, and proper positioning
  • Document perioperative events and communicate promptly with the surgical team and PACU staff

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse license in California
  • Perioperative/OR nursing experience or demonstrated strong interest in surgical care
  • Ability to work in a hospital operating room environment with rotating shifts
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills for high-stakes surgical settings
  • Willingness to complete required credentialing and onboarding processes for travel assignments
