The Registered Nurse will provide professional nursing care in the Pre-Op/PACU unit, including patient assessment, planning, and implementation of care. Responsibilities also include overseeing admissions and discharges, delegating nursing assignments, and managing medical supplies.
Northwest Specialty Pre-Op/PACU Unit is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused RN to join the team!
In this fast-paced role you will direct and provide professional nursing care in our PACU/Pre-Op Unit.
In this unit, you will be expected to work both pre-op and recovery.
The typical patient to nurse ratio is 2:1, but can vary based on department needs.
You will utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to direct or provide nursing care.
Individuals in this role perform such duties as delegating nursing assignments, preparing schedules, overseeing admissions and discharges, and monitoring and ordering medicines and supplies.

Candidates must hold a current RN license in Idaho and possess or be willing to obtain BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Previous experience in PACU, critical care, or emergency rooms is strongly preferred.
