The employee will assist patients with daily living activities, mobility, and light housekeeping while monitoring their health status. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate patient records and providing companionship to improve the patient's quality of life.
Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with supervisor or case manager. Support mobility by assisting patients with lifting and transferring as needed. Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating. Light house-keeping duties, such as changing bed linens, laundry, cleaning, or preparing meals. Enhancing quality of life and building relationships with patients through conversation, doing activities together, and finding stimulation to keep them mentally healthy and alert. Monitor patients' pulse, temperature, and respiration.
