The housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the campus, including resident apartments and common areas. Duties include vacuuming, dusting, laundry, trash removal, and managing cleaning supplies.
Job Objective(s) Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the campus and ensuring that visitors, residents, families, and staff have a positive impression. Additional duties include cleaning of common areas, project cleaning and seasonal cleaning duties as assigned. Weekly cleaning & laundry in resident’s rooms.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
Provide consistent & quality work to the residents and staff
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and cleaning cart
Follow job routines and instructions according to the assigned housekeeping schedule.
Assure resident apartment and laundry are clean and sanitized as scheduled.
Maintain inventory for daily needs & notify supervisor of supply issues
Assist in keeping all common areas neat, clean and safe.
Follow the daily schedule to ensure all tasks are accomplished in a timely manner.
Environment Works indoors in a climate-controlled environment majority of the time.
Working Hours Shifts are generally assigned but the employee must have the ability to work various shifts, weekends, holidays, evenings and/or overnights.
