Job duties and responsibilities
Provide professional massage services including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, and other therapeutic techniques based on client needs.
Conduct client consultations to assess physical condition, medical history, and specific concerns prior to treatment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and serene treatment space in accordance with health and safety standards.
Ensure guest comfort and safety throughout each session by explaining procedures, adjusting techniques, and responding to feedback.
Keep accurate records of client treatments, preferences, and any relevant observations.
Recommend appropriate spa products and wellness practices to enhance guests' at-home care.
Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with industry techniques and certifications.
Collaborate with other spa team members to deliver a seamless and exceptional guest experience.
Education and experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Completion of an accredited massage therapy program.
Valid state massage therapy license or certification required.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a spa, wellness center, or clinical environment preferred, but not required.
