Provide comprehensive pediatric endocrinology care through both outpatient in-person and telemedicine visits. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage diabetes and various endocrine disorders in a regional hub setting.

The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) is a leading group of over 1,800 physicians in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., exclusively caring for Kaiser Permanente patients. We invite applications for a specialist in Pediatric Endocrinology at our Capitol Hill Medical Center in Washington, DC.

Unlike other U.S. health systems, MAPMG is built and led by physicians who earn competitive salaries, without income based on providing individual services.

Our medical group comprises board-certified physicians across 60+ specialties.

MAPMG physicians use a comprehensive electronic health record (EHR) to coordinate care.

Our focus is on long-term health, prevention, diagnosing, and treating diseases effectively.

MAPMG researchers and staff support innovative ideas, ensuring quality care, educational programming, and advancing best practices through research.

What You Can Expect

Join a collaborative team of two board-certified Pediatric Endocrinologists, a Certified Diabetes Educator, and dedicated nursing and clinical support staff

Multidisciplinary support from Dietitians, Social Workers, and a Child Life Specialist

Care for children with diabetes, in addition to patients with a wide range of endocrine disorders

Kaiser Permanente Capitol Hill Medical Center serves as the regional hub for pediatric specialty care in the Mid-Atlantic

Provide outpatient care through in-person and telemedicine visits

Inpatient care is provided at Children's National Medical Center, in partnership with Kaiser Permanente Pediatric Hospitalists and Children's National Intensivists, Neonatologists, and Pediatric Endocrinology consultants.

Minimum Requirements

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology
  • Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia

The starting annual salary for this position is $184,000 which considers an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors.
