As a hospice medical social worker, you will be responsible for psychosocial evaluations, and ongoing counse of patients and families during their end-of-life journey.

Working in accordance with the plan of care, you will provide emotional support to patients and families when it's needed most.

Qualifications

A heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible care Education: MS degree in social work from an accredited school of social work approved by the Council of Social Work Education Licensure: Current state license as a social worker Experience: 2+ years of clinical work experience, preferably in healthcare or hospice Required: Reliable transportation. Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently and lift at least 25lbs and bear the weight of an average adult effectively. We’ve worked hard to build a caring culture of integrity, communication, diversity and positive experiences, and we’d love for you to join our team. *Pay is determined by years of experience and location.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Social Work and possess a current state license. At least two years of clinical experience in healthcare or hospice is required, along with the ability to perform physical tasks related to patient care.
