The Staff Nurse is responsible for managing and providing care to the patient and his/her family, and for directing and supervising nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team. The Staff Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, delegating and evaluating the nursing care of patients in alignment with the professional practice model. Required Qualifications Degree in Nursing from a CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited nursing program required. Current Ohio license or interim permit. *Experience in relevant care setting preferred.
11 North is a NEW unit and will open initially with 12 beds in the Acute Care Department. We are a general medicine mixed acuity unit that sees both medical surgical and PCU patients. On our unit, nurses work with attending physicians to deliver care our team-centered environment. Our physician team rooms are on the unit or close by to promote this team-based approach. Our team is passionate about staff development and advancement as a dedicated education unit. We would love to welcome you to our team on 11 North.
Candidates must hold a degree in Nursing from a CCNE or ACEN accredited program. A current Ohio nursing license or interim permit is required for the role.
