Full Time Nights 6ap-6;30am with rotating weekends CDH Medical Care Center (4 A/B/C) 72 bed unit serving adult general medical and medical oncology patients Patient population includes young adults (age 18) to geriatric. Adult medical: The majority of patients are admitted with gastrointestinal disorders and heart or lung conditions ranging from acute episodes to chronic. Others diagnoses include; uncontrolled metabolic disorders, infectious processes, skin integrity disorders, neurological and circulatory impairment, as well as secondary conditions such as kidney disease or diabetes. Medical Oncology: Medical Oncology patients and palliative/hospice. Required: High School Diploma or equivalent Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, or nursing school students with one semester of clinical completed CPR – American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Preferred: Phlebotomy experience Graduate of an accredited Nursing Assistant program or Graduate of Phlebotomy course
