The Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner will perform inpatient rounding on acute complex patients as part of the hospitalist team. They will also be responsible for diagnosing and treating illnesses, managing chronic conditions, and providing long-term disease management.
Master of Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing (DNP) degree for Nurse Practitioner applicants. Acute Care Certification required for Nurse Practitioners Master’s degree for Physician Assistant applicants. State licensure(s) required in the state(s) where the Nurse Practitioner will work. Certificate of Authority to practice. Current American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification and certification(s) applicable to your role.
