  • Summary: The Medical Assistant I role functions under the clinical supervision of the Physician/Advanced Practice Provider in a primary care practice. This individual assists in the preparation and delivery of patient care as directed by the provider(s) and other licensed clinical personnel. Clinical duties are skillfully and consistently performed per established clinical policy and procedure.

Required

Either a graduate of an accredited MA school OR a current MA certification. Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification National certification preferred. Current CPR certification required.

Requirements

Candidates must have a high school diploma and be a graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant school or hold a current MA certification. A current CPR certification is also required for the role.
