Earn More with Shift Differentials Maximize your earnings with additional hourly pay: +$2/hr -> Monday-Thursday Nights +$6/hr -> Friday-Sunday Nights +$2/hr -> Saturday-Sunday Days What You'll Do: We are hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) who assesses consumers and documents pertinent information including Triage, Behavioral Health, Physical Health, and/or Substance Abuse issues.

Demonstrates knowledge of Crisis Intervention and the ability to de-escalate potentially aggressive situations and will provide education to consumers and their families regarding Behavioral Health diagnosis, medications, and treatments.

Completes detailed Nursing Assessments with individuals and documents pertinent information including Triage, Medical/Behavioral Health assessments, and medication administration utilizing appropriate assessment tools.

Accurately record all medication brought in by individual on medication reconciliation/storage form.

Plans individual treatment as part of the Multidisciplinary Clinical team.

Provides education concerning Psychiatric diagnosis, treatment options, psychopharmacology, and overall health literacy to individuals, families, and all others involved in the individual’s care.

Intervenes with appropriate verbal interventions to diffuse out of control or potentially dangerous behaviors.

Demonstrates ability to effectively use therapeutic option theory and technique and can describe and demonstrate their roles and responsibilities.

Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of Seclusion/Restraint standards, guidelines, techniques and initiates documentation and debriefing with individuals for any seclusion/restraint incidents as required.

Accurately transcribes Provider orders and administers medications as prescribed.

Attempts to have individual sign medication consent form.

Performs chart checks and signs off as a second noted on medications prescribed.

Draw labs and provide wound care as ordered by Providers when required.

Completes nurse to nurse at discharge or when accepting individual from another facility.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring: Graduated from an accredited Nursing program Unrestricted active license as Registered Professional Nurse through State Board of Nursing or hold a multistate licensure privilege Must be able to perform Safe Clinch patient restraint techniques American Heart Association BLS The Company has a mandatory vaccination policy.

All successful applicants must be fully vaccinated, including showing proper documentation, or otherwise be exempt pursuant to the Company’s exemption process prior to their start date as a condition of employment Complete all credentialing requirements within the required time period, including but not limited to obtaining a National Provider Identifier (NPI), Medallion enrollment, Medicare enrollment, and any other necessary credentials as required for the role Physical Requirements Safely perform physical interventions (e.g., standing, pivoting, reaching, kneeling, lowering to the floor, and supporting another person’s weight) Lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally Tolerate prolonged walking, standing, and observation in a fast-paced environment Work with individuals who may exhibit agitation, aggression, or unpredictable behavior It would be great if you had: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing At least 3 years of psychiatric, behavioral health or relevant experience Previous emergency room or crisis psychiatric care experience Experience working with individuals with addiction and addiction management

Requirements

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and hold an active, unrestricted Registered Professional Nurse license. The role requires the ability to perform physical patient interventions and maintain BLS certification.
