Job Summary We are located at 400 Highland Avenue in Salem, MA. In this office, we evaluate and treat a range of urologic disorders in adult patients. Our team is board certified and includes experts in minimally invasive surgical techniques, such as laparoscopic, endoscopic, extracorporeal and percutaneous approaches.

We are seeking a per diem RN to support our practice. Our practice is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Responsible for patient care and support within the outpatient setting through providing compassionate care, assisting in procedures, and collaborating effectively in a dynamic ambulatory care environment.

Essential Functions

Deliver direct patient care and support, ensuring high nursing standards.

Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety.

Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care.

Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations.

Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications: Education Associate's Degree Nursing required Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred

Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No

Licenses and Credentials Registered Nurse [RN - State License] - required Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - preferred

Experience Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required Ambulatory care or outpatient experience 1-2 years preferred

  • Proficient knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and healthcare technologies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an Associate's Degree in Nursing and a valid Registered Nurse license. At least 0-1 year of clinical nursing experience is required, with preference given to those with ambulatory or outpatient experience.
