About the role

The Monitor Technician performs ongoing surveillance of patient cardiac monitors and remote telemetry. They are responsible for providing immediate notification to clinicians regarding any changes in cardiac rhythms.

Responsibilities

The Monitor Technician is responsible for the ongoing surveillance of patient cardiac monitors/remote telemetry and provides RNs and/or clinicians with immediate notification of any changes in cardiac rhythms.

Qualifications

REQUIRED One (1) year of experience as a Monitor Technician Successful completion of a basic arrhythmia course or equivalent coursework. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units. PREFERRED CRAT (Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician) Certification through CCI. Work Hours: 7AM - 7PM Weekend Requirements: Yes

Requirements

Candidates must have at least one year of experience as a Monitor Technician and have completed a basic arrhythmia course. A valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification is required.
