Market context
In Illinois, blood gas technician openings are typically tied to hospitals and other acute-care settings that need reliable respiratory and laboratory support across rotating shifts. These roles are competitive because employers usually want a health-science background plus prior laboratory experience, and per-diem scheduling can add flexibility but also requires readiness to adapt quickly. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits on this page to save time, then confirm your lab experience and shift availability before applying.
