Skilled Wound Care, a leading national surgical physician group servicing nursing homes for wound care, ostomy care, and minor skin care, is looking to hire an Credentialing Coordinator to assist in the contracting and credentialing process for physicians and health practitioners. We are looking for a detail-oriented and well-balanced individual who is looking to share their expertise to assist Skilled Wound Care in the organization of all facets of the provider credentialing process. We will work with you to grow and thrive in this position! Job Duties: Communicate with a variety of health plans including Medicare and Medicaid Complete credentialing applications and contracts with health plans Work with our physicians to complete required documentation Diligently track progress of credentialing and contracting applications and communicate to leadership regularly Work cross functionally with other departments to ensure business goals are met Help to improve the provider licensing function as it continues to grow Requirements/Qualifications: At least 1+ years of experience in credentialing Strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and excellent communication skills Credentialing experience with Behavioral Health Credentialing experience in all states in the East Coast and California This is a REMOTE role but MUST live in one of the following states: CA, CO,FL,GA,KS, MD,MO, NJ, NY, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN ,TX, WY
