About the role

The Psychiatric Technician I is responsible for ensuring the safety and welfare of adult residents while supporting their mental, physical, and emotional health. They actively participate in the treatment planning process and assist in carrying out established treatment plan goals.

Earn $18.51/hour with the selection of the Enhanced Pay Option.

Position Details

The Psychiatric Technician I position works with and adheres to the safety and welfare of all adult residents in the Residential Program including mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional health. The individual participates in carrying out residents’ treatment plan goals and assisting with the treatment planning process, as well as providing support with direct care responsibilities. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 6 months paid or volunteer experience in a related mental health field required,
  • Knowledge and understanding of severe mental illness, recovery principles and recovery driven service system required.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • All Clearances required by OMHSAS.

Requirements

Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and at least 6 months of experience in a mental health field. A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain all required OMHSAS clearances are also mandatory.
