Market context

Indiana counseling roles need licensure

In Indiana, masters-level counseling and therapy roles are typically tied to active licensure and documented post-degree clinical hours, so demand often centers on candidates who are already close to independent practice. These positions are competitive because employers look for a relevant master’s degree, at least 2,000 post-degree professional hours, and readiness to complete CPI, BLS, and First Aid; the requirements and benefits shown here are AI-summarized from the original job description to save you research time. Before applying, confirm your temporary or associate license status and gather documentation of supervised hours.
