Ultrasound Technologist - Urology Location: Queens, NY Hours: 5/8.5 hour shifts, Monday - Friday (between 7:30am-6:00pm) Organization: New York Imaging (NYI) In This Role, You Will: Perform a wide range of urology related ultrasound exams including, renal, bladder, prostate and small parts in an outpatient setting Prepare preliminary written impressions and communicate results to on site urologists Maintain and document regular equipment maintenance Review and execute current lab protocols and assure emergent tests are expedited Assist doctors with outpatient-related procedures/biopsies. Follow and understand all radiology policies and procedures Maintain a clean and safe work environment Demonstrate excellent communication, organization, and computer skills We Require: Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or equivalent ARDMS (AB) certification required Bachelor's or Associate’s degree preferred Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience Urology ultrasound experience is a plus
