  • In this role, you will: Perform routine and non-routine activities involved in the preparation of surgical specimens for Histological processing, according to policies and procedures. Assure appropriate specimen accessioning and labeling. Perform gross description and dissection of specimens received. Recognize when troubleshooting is needed for processing, embedding, cutting, staining. Work in a fast-paced laboratory environment with biological and chemical hazards
  • Champion safety, compliance, and quality control
  • All you need is: Must qualify as a High Complexity Testing personnel under CLIA regulations-- bachelor’s degree in a chemical or biological science or medical laboratory technology obtained from an accredited institution. 1 year experience in grossing preferred Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills. Ability to operate general laboratory equipment, including but not limited to: telephones, computers, automated analyzers, centrifuges, microscopes, manual and automated pipettes, and audible alarms.
