The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, and document care for hematology, oncology, and stem cell transplant patients. They are responsible for directing patient care teams and responding to in-house medical emergencies.
Your qualifications should include: Critical Care/telemetry experience or telemetry competency within 6 months of hire Critical Care experience or completes in-house critical care courses 12 months of hire Graduate of NLNAC or CCNE School of Nursing State of Illinois Registered Nurse License. BLS certification upon hire and maintained in position. ACLS certification upon hire or obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained in position. ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certified within 6 months for experienced RN - 12 months for new RN’s Oncology Certification through ONCC when eligible or 6 oncology CE every year (18 oncology CE total every 3 years) for the Oncology Commission Cancer cycle.
