About the role

Provide primary care services to patients of all ages at the Northwest Physicians Group center. Manage a daily patient load of 16-18 individuals while maintaining a strong focus on quality metrics.

Opportunity Details Northwest Physicians Group, a part of Northwest Texas Healthcare System, is recruiting a board certified NP or PA for a FT position at our Primary Care Center in Amarillo.

Position highlights: Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Active, clear Texas license Employed position Experience strongly preferred Seeking compassionate provider with excellent interpersonal skills See 16-18 patients a day on average all ages Strong focus on quality metrics Competitive salary and productivity incentive Robust employed benefits package Northwest Texas Healthcare System is a tertiary care facility and teaching hospital known throughout the region for cardiac, stroke, emergency, and children’s services.

As a Level II and Lead Trauma Center for the 26-county Texas Panhandle the hospital treats over 64,000 patients in its ED each year.

NWTHS features a Children’s Hospital, The Childbirth Center, and Surgical services in robotics, cardiothoracic, vascular, neurosurgery, bariatrics, head and neck, orthopedics, and ortho trauma.

NWTHS is owned and operated by a subsidiary of Universal Health Services (UHS), one of the largest hospital and healthcare management companies.

Requirements

Candidates must be a board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with an active, clear Texas license. Previous experience in a clinical setting is strongly preferred.
