Job Summary The Medical Assistant II (MA II) is an experienced unlicensed healthcare professional who performs routine technical services within the medical practice settings under the supervision of the physician and the department’s leadership staff. The associate in this role possesses knowledge and skills to function efficiently in the back office and has a solid understanding of clinic operations. The associate in this role functions in an independent manner within the scope of their duties. May also assist in front office as needed. Participates in projects / executing initiatives at the direction of management. Pay Range Minimum $23.00 Midpoint $29.64 Maximum $36.28 Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements. Required: Minimum three (3) years of back-office MA experience with at least 1 year in a pediatric setting
Preferred: Education
Required: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent. Graduate of a vocational school having successfully completed requirements for MA.
Preferred: Certification in Medical Assisting including Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) Training
