The Surgical Technician II provides support by anticipating the needs of the Surgeon and other surgical personnel by performing tasks that assist in the care and treatment of patients during the surgical process while maintaining a sterile work environment at all times. Performs decontamination of equipment, instruments and completes sterilization process. Maintains a positive and professional image when interacting with patients, their families, physicians, employees and general public.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Candidates must have graduated from an accredited Surgical Technology Program or completed a military training program. Additionally, they must hold a National Certified Surgical Technologist or equivalent certification and possess relevant operating room experience.
