About the role

The Speech Language Pathologist will evaluate and treat patients for swallowing and speech-language needs while designing and implementing individualized care plans. They are also responsible for documenting assessments, educating families, and supervising clinical fellows or students.

How you’ll contribute

A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) who excels in this role will

Evaluate and treat patient populations for swallowing, speech-language and therapy needs.

Perform and document initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.

Design and implement a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient and family.

Educate and counsel patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.

Plan and/or assist with patient discharge from therapy services.

Supervise activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel.

What we're looking for: Applicants must hold a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology.

Additional requirements include:

Licensed Speech Therapist; Current licensure with TX Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology

Requirements

Applicants must hold a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology and possess a current license from the Texas Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology. Additionally, candidates are required to obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of hire.
