The Phlebotomy Technician will perform blood draws, specimen collection, and various laboratory support tasks. They are also responsible for data entry, managing supplies, and responding to inquiries within the clinical setting.
The University of Iowa Health Care Department of Pathology is seeking to fill Phlebotomy Technician II or Phlebotomy Technician I to perform phlebotomy/specimen collection and a variety of laboratory tasks related to phlebotomy, labeling specimens, telephone inquiries, and distribution of phlebotomy supplies.

Duties to include: Performs phlebotomy draws Performs computer data entry and other clerical tasks as required Orders, receives, and distributes supplies Responds to basic phlebotomy inquiries and otherwise represents assigned and related work areas Percent of Time: 100%25 Schedule: 1330-2200 Monday-Friday, rotating holidays.
