Provide direct patient care to high acuity patients in a complex neurosurgery department. Engage in clinical procedures, patient assessments, triaging, and medication administration while collaborating with the care team.
This is a benefited, full time position generally working Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm with a closing shift of 8am-5pm once/week and occasional Fridays on a rotating basis.
Hours will vary as needed.
Located at Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines in La Jolla but may travel to other sites as needed.

What you'll do: Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
Provides direct patient care to high acuity patients in a complex department within the scope of practice.
Engages in complex clinical procedures and may provide clinical assessments to surgical patients in the hospital setting.
Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration.
Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
Current CA license. Current American Heart Associate Healthcare Provider BLS certificate.

Education/Experience/Specialized
Skills/Certification: 2 year RN experience in an outpatient clinic. 3 years RN experience in Neurosurgery.
Requires a current California RN license and an American Heart Association BLS certificate. Preferred qualifications include two years of outpatient clinic experience and three years of neurosurgery experience.
