The Registered Nurse will facilitate and collaborate with the healthcare team to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients. They are responsible for promoting optimal health and safety through the nursing process in accordance with established standards and the State Nurse Practice Act.

Job Summary and Responsibilities Qualified external applicants with at least six months of direct RN experience are eligible for a $20,000 sign-on bonus!

Apply to chat with a recruiter for more details about our bonuses. 5th Floor Med/Surg Unit Description: The 5th Floor Medical Surgical department at St. Anthony Hospital, an achieved Magnet® hospital, is a 36-bed medical surgical unit specializing in neuro, trauma, and ortho. Our department is the main service line for our patients that need the care that a Level 1 Trauma Center Provides. Patients are from all age groups (usually 16 years and above) with occasional overflow of general med/surg patients. We have a strong culture of teamwork where we pride ourselves on delivering high quality, safe patient care. Our team is a committed, caring group of colleagues who have a passion for creating positive patient interactions. Our medical surgical unit lends itself to developing great relationships with our coworkers and we work together to provide excellent patient care. A good candidate for the 5th floor would be someone who prides themselves in being a team player, has a positive attitude, open communication skills, hard-working, dedicated, and accountable. As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will assume responsibility and accountability for: Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the health care team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient. Promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act. Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values. Job Requirements In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified nursing candidates will need the following: Education Requirements Associates Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNs Experience Requirements One year experience preferred Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty Licenses/Certification Requirements RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact Physical Requirements Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly) #SAHMedSurgRN

Requirements

Candidates must hold an Associate Degree in Nursing and a valid RN license. At least six months of direct RN experience is required for the sign-on bonus, with one year of experience preferred.
