To assist the nursing staff in the rendering of patient care by providing those services necessary for patient comfort and personal hygiene requiring little or no variation in routine, and to assist in areas of orthopedic care(includes splinting), phlebotomy, accucheck, and 12-lead EKG. Also, may assist with Unit Clerk duties. Performs all other duties as assigned.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire. Previous experience as an Emergency Medical Technician is preferred.
