Provides photographic documentation of ocular disorders and pathology by capturing images of retinas, corneas, and other ocular structures. Performs highly technical diagnostic testing procedures under the direction of a physician.

Education: HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
COA-Certified Ophthalmic Assistant OR COT-Certified Ophthalmic Technologist BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
1 year of recent relevant experience.
Knowledge of retinal fundus photography both film and digital systems. Knowledge, understanding and ability to operate state of the art optical imaging equipment. Knowledge of medical terminology and eye anatomy. Clear and complete documentation skills along with computer data entry skills to enter patient information. Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment with high degree of motivation.
