Responsibilities

What You’ll Do: Provide personalized occupational therapy services under the direction of an Occupational Therapist to help patients improve functional independence, safety and overall quality of life Implement patient-centered treatment plans focused on ADLs, strength, mobility, and adaptive techniques Help patients improve their ability to perform daily tasks such as dressing, bathing, grooming, and meal preparation Partner with interdisciplinary teams, caregivers, and nursing staff to support strong patient outcomes and continuity of care Maintain accurate clinical documentation, monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on individual rehabilitation needs

Qualifications

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or license eligible in the state of practice Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Interest or experience in geriatric rehabilitation or senior living therapy Passion for patient-centered care and improving quality of life for older adults
