The Float CT Technologist performs complex CT scans by positioning patients, administering contrast media, and operating scanning equipment. They are responsible for maintaining high-quality images, ensuring patient safety, and documenting accurate patient records across multiple imaging center locations.

American Health Imaging is seeking a Full-Time Float CT Technologist to join our team. This position offers a consistent schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, providing excellent work-life balance. Float locations include: Lawrenceville, Gainesville, Athens, Johns Creek, Cumming, Conyers and Decatur but could vary depending on where candidate lives. **Mileage reimbursement will be provided for travel to any locations outside of your designated home base*
Duties/Responsibilities: Demonstrates the company’s values in daily activities Performs complex tasks associated with the operation of CT scanners and related equipment to produce cross-section images of patients’ internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues Positions patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment to comply with government regulations and to ensure the safety of patients and staff Screens patients for CT safety prior to procedure performance Starts I.V.’s, administers contrast media as directed and per protocol Evaluates CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images and sequence of exposure and labels appropriately Loads and operates power injectors for contrast media administration Applies the profession's code of ethics in all aspects of practice Maintains knowledge of, observes, and enforces the safety measures in the Environment of Care Maintains accurate patient records. Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an AMA-approved School of Radiology Technology with at least 12 months of experience in diagnostic radiology or imaging. Required certifications include ARRT certification in Computed Tomography and applicable state licensure.
