Provide respiratory care in pediatric critical care, step-down, and general care units. Perform procedures including bronchial hygiene, oxygen therapy, and the initiation and support of mechanical ventilation.

Education/Licensure/Certifications: HS/GED Required. Must be licensed by the ASBRT and registered by the NBRC or credentialed as a Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist (NPS) by the NBRC. Certification of PALS and NRP are preferred for all applicants and are mandatory within one year. Certification of BLS is preferred for hire processes and required within the orientation period, not to exceed 90 days of hire or transfer. Certification of ACLS is preferred.
