  • Administration: Administer oral and topical medications as prescribed by a physician, under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Ensure the correct medication, dosage, and time are administered. Document medication administration accurately, including dosage, time, and resident response. Maintain accurate records of medication administration. Report any adverse reactions or side effects to the supervising nurse.

  • Care: Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as hygiene, dressing, feeding, and mobility. Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the supervising nurse. Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, and toileting.

  • Safety: Ensure the safety and comfort of residents. Answer residents’ call lights and respond to their needs promptly. Maintain a clean and organized environment. Follow established healthcare standards and practices.

Requirements and Qualifications Licensed Certified Medication Aide in the State this position is held in. Must maintain and have an active CPR/BLS during employment. Prefer experience in long term care, geriatric rehab, sub-acute and or critical care clinical setting. Experience in electronic medical records documentation. Requirements

Candidates must hold a valid Certified Medication Aide license and maintain active CPR/BLS certification. Previous experience in long-term care, geriatric rehab, or sub-acute clinical settings is preferred.
