The clinical pharmacist will evaluate and manage pharmacotherapeutic regimens for ICU and emergency department patients to ensure effective and safe drug therapy. They will also provide drug information to medical teams and facilitate the efficient distribution and administration of medications.
The HARBORVIEW PHARMACY DEPARTMENT has an outstanding opportunity for a CLINICAL STAFF PHARMACIST - ICU/EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT.
Strong candidates will have an advanced degree or residency, or 2 years of experience in clinically-oriented hospital pharmacy practice.
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS State of Washington Pharmacist License and one year of experience in hospital pharmacy practice. Months spent in the completion of an American Society of Health System Pharmacists accredited residency training program may substitute month-for-month for the required experience.
LEGAL REQUIREMENT State of Washington Pharmacist license.
