The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, coordination, and delivery of holistic nursing care in an acute medical/surgical setting. They must foster collaborative relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers while adhering to hospital policies and industry standards.
EDUCATION Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Required Bachelor’ degree Preferred CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE RN - Registered Nurse of California - California Department of Consumer Affairs Required or RN-IP - Registered Nurse of California Interim Permit - California Department of Consumer Affairs Required BLS - Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - American Heart Association or American Red Cross Required EXPERIENCE Minimum of six (6) months area specific acute care experience within the last two (2) years Preferred SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Must have demonstrated knowledge of basic nursing skills and effective English written and communication skills. Independently practices and prioritizes multiple demands in an ever-changing environment. Good interpersonal, communication (both oral and written) and teamwork skills are required. Pay Range is $76.40 to $101.18 / hour The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
