The Physician Assistant provides medical consultation, routine patient care, and follow-up while assisting physicians with procedures. They serve as a liaison between the physician and the patient within a multidisciplinary trauma team.

This Level 2 Trauma Team is a multidisciplinary, dynamic team delivering lifesaving treatment, stabilizing and treating patients in critical condition. Enjoy a variety of clinic work, Trauma Emergency Department, Trauma Unit and Trauma Surgery.

The Physician Assistant assists physician with procedures and serves as a liaison between the physician and the patient. Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires.

Candidates must hold a degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program and possess current licensure in the state of Oklahoma. Current BLS certification is required, with additional ACLS or PALS certifications preferred depending on the specific department.
