Job Requirements

Position Summary

• Employee Health promotes the health and safety of SRHS healthcare workers. The OHT III performs responsibilities according to established policies and procedures. The OHT performs duties including bringing patients back into the clinic for initial screening, biometrics, vision, and color vision. The OHT performs drug and alcohol testing per protocols. The OHT assists with patient registration and appointment scheduling. The OHT assists the NP with vital signs and CLIA waived lab testing. Minimum Requirements Education
• High School Diploma or equivalent Experience
• 1 year healthcare related and phlebotomy experience License/Registration/Certifications
• BAT certification
• Experience with venipunctures required
• Experience with drug screening
• BLS CPR Preferred Requirements Preferred Education

• N/A Core Job Responsibilities
• Perform vital signs, ht, wt, waist measurements
• Performs vision, color vision screening
• Performs pulmonary functions tests
• Performs frequent Venipunctures for labs
• Collect drug screens per policy and procedure for pre-placement, random surveillance and for cause
• Perform breath alcohol testing per policy
• Perform CLIA waived lab tests include rapid strep, rapid flu, urinalysis and glucose
• Answer phones, schedule appointments
• Filing and scanning, documentation, medical records requests
• Enter documentation of PPD reader forms and resp. fit testing
• Stock supplies in exam rooms/lab
• Assist with off campus annual labs/vitals/biometrics
• Assist with wellness program activities and communication, health risk assessment enrollment
