Description

This contract position offers a unique opportunity for medical professionals to contribute to our community through high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic radiological services while working on-site.

As a Locum Radiologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and interpreting medical imaging studies, collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care. This position not only contributes to our hospital's mission of providing outstanding medical services but also allows for flexibility and a work-life balance.

Responsibilities

Perform and interpret various diagnostic imaging procedures Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care Prepare and present diagnostic findings to the medical team Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings Supervise and guide radiology technicians and support staff Stay updated on advancements in radiology technology and procedures Adhere to safety protocols and best practices in all imaging procedures

Requirements

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree Current medical license to practice in the state of Tennessee Completion of a residency in radiology Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Familiarity with radiology equipment and technology Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement

· Schedule: 7a-5p, 5 days a week

· Call Requirement: 5p-7a or 7a-7a

· Setting: Hospital and ambulatory sites

· Duties: Diagnostic and interventional radiology

· Standard IR procedures required

· Support Staff: 2 PAs

· EMR: Epic

· PACS: McKesson & Merge

· Must be board-certified or board-eligible

· BLS and ACLS required

· Paid travel & expenses
