Conduct thorough patient assessments for pediatric patients Develop and implement patient care plans Provide clinical care including diagnosis and treatment of common pediatric conditions Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records Participate actively in hospitalist team meetings Stay updated on the latest pediatric healthcare advancements
Associate's degree in Nursing or related field Current NP or PA certification and licensure Experience in pediatric care preferred Strong clinical skills and a compassionate approach to patient care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) Commitment to ongoing professional development
Schedule: 24-hour in-house shifts, 1 shift every 3-4 days
Daily Census: 10-12 nursery, 8-12 children, 2-3 PICU patients
Support Staff: Pediatric Hospitalist, residents
EMR: Epic
2-3 years of experience required; must have PICU experience
Must be board-certified
