About the role

The Radiologic Technologist operates X-ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce routine radiographs for a diverse patient population. The role involves performing intravenous radiographic studies and working with autonomy in a clinical imaging environment.

Responsibilities

Operates X‑Ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce routine radiographs of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. This position is characterized by the ability to perform intravenous radiographic studies and work in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision. The Registered Radiologic Technologist/Screen Atlanta works with a female population over thirty-five years of age.

Qualifications

REQUIRED Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR). Screen Atlanta: Must be a Certified Mammographer. Two (2) years of experience required. Current and valid Georgia State driver's license. PREFERRED Prior experience in diagnostic radiology. Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with various types of patients, visitors, physicians, and other personnel. Work Hours (EX:7AM-7PM): 8A-4:30P

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and registered by the ARRT. The role requires two years of experience, current BLS/CPR certification, and a valid Georgia driver's license.
